Molds and Mildew Rescue

MOLD BACKGROUND
• Mold cases is high during rainy season, June-October in the Philippines
• Even when item is treated, it is still highly possible to have recurrence of mold growth especially when area/storage is musty.
• When item is treated but the other items are not, the treated item can still get infected
• Mold infestation especially on leather causes damage on coating and color of item, which causes the white stains/discoloration.
• Severe mold cases are manifested by presence of white cotton-like substance in the bag.

FAQs
1. Once you apply Mold Rescue, will the molds still grow back?
*There is a possibility of molds growing back because of humidity. However, molds are totally treated if it does not grow back within 24-48 hours after treatment. During rainy season, it is best advised to air out items.
* You can repeat application as many times as possible
2. How many uses? Up to 10-15 uses
3. What materials can it be used for? All types of materials
* Just take note that for suede materials, just damp the cloth with small amount. It does not need to be really wet.
4. Can I use it even if there are no molds yet? Yes, you can use it for prevention, but it is only recommended during humid/rainy season
5. Can it remove the white stain/ spots on my item?
* Normally if there are white stains/spots caused by prolonged mold infestation, you can remove molds, but the discoloration needs re-dying treatment for total restoration.
6. Will it remove odor caused by molds? Odor might lessen because molds will be removed but it cannot totally eliminate existing odor.
7. Does it have expiry? Best to use within 2 years after opening.
